Ive cut my nails short n painted them so they're nice and tidy just those two things im lost about :S :(What to wear for a job interview in a hair salon?
As a salon co-owner I can tell you that black is the way to go. Fortune 500 did an article a few years ago stating that the most successfull salons have a dress code of all black. I changed the dress code at the salon on a trial basis and it worked!!! I can also tell you not to wear open toed shoes, nothing too revealing but sexy. DO NOT WEAR JEANS! As far as your hair goes you should just flat iron it and maybe put a voluminous poof with your bangs. What to wear for a job interview in a hair salon?
I would wear a white blouse and black skirt, but be creative and colourful with jewellery/makeup (though don't go CRAZY). Whenever you go for a job interview, you need to be at least semi-formal, but with something like this do show them you can be creative. But the most imp. thing is your hair. If it doesn't look like you take good care of yourself, how can they trust you to take care of others?
clean and smart, good flat shoes, tidy hair, not too much make up, and don't make the dreadful mistake of dowsing yourself with perfume. they do not want to see creative for a trainee position they want to see punctual, clean competent and friendly.

as for your hair just do whatever you do properly if you straighten don't miss any and if you put it up make sure its symmetrical and tidy.
Don't put your hair up, don't straighten it. try something new!

Never wear jeans

I wouldn't wear nail polish to a hair salon to work , they don't like it because it could come off on a clients hair.

wear some plain black trousers, some smart dolly shoes and a nice funky but not slutty top.

BEEST OF LUCK!
It depends on the place.

If it is a pretty high class type of place, wear something professional.

If it's a laid back place, show off your creative side.

Same thing goes with your hair.

Just make sure it looks amazing because it is a hair salon, haha.

Good luck and I hope you get the job.
Well black is trendy. I would go for the black but wear another colour as your blouse and some jewelery.

As for your hair, I wouldn't do something all out. But I would make sure your hair looks REALLY healthy and well done so they think you know what you're doing.
some thing that make you comfortable but at the same time something fun and cute!

btw: good luck!
dress smart and trendy, make sure you know the latest gossip too
Yeah, black is a standard color in a salon. The key for you is going to be wearing a colorful top and trendy but slightly modest jewelry, accessorizing is important. In a salon we want people to come in and think ';I want to look like that!';. But remember that a lot of clients are really conservative, so opt for pretty over trendy if you have a choice. Always have amazing hair! Don't go crazy, but don;t leave it straight, the same rules apply, trendy but not over the top. If it a cool trendy salon the does a lot of pink and green color, go for more trendy and hip, it is a spa kind of thing that is very straight laced, go for more plane things, just look up that salon and see what kind of business they are. You will be interviewed by the owner, and they set up their salon to be their style, so they want you to have the same style... theirs!
