If you decide to go to a salon than just ask for a blow-out, do not let them fool you into getting a texturizer. That is just another relaxer that loosens the curl pattern. If you live anywhere on the East coast or in florida where they're are a lot of dominicans than go to a one of their salons, they are the absolute best when it comes to doing blow outs. You can also ask them to hot comb your roots to blend the two textures.
WARNING!!! Putting constant heat on your new growth/natural hair will distort your curl pattern, dry it out, and eventually cause your hair to break. Be sure you are only washing with shampoo once a wek and deep condition at least once a week to restore moisture.
