No, don't put any in. Gel and hair spray will stop the dye working right and it could react badly with it. I wouldn't. You should wash it with a clarifying shampoo before you head to the salon. It'll wash away all the styling products and make it easier to handle.
The stylist will wash it out and when she/he's done she/he'll restyle it, no worries
